A new recruit to genealogy or a hardened record weary researcher, this is the place for you!

Irish Genealogy Services offers a worldwide facility providing detailed and professionally researched histories of families, individuals and houses.

Irish Genealogy Services was set up and is run by a full time, Irish based, researcher with a background in Irish heritage (see About).  It is a genuine, personal, value for money research service.

To see the full range of services we offer, please go to SERVICES & COSTS.   All our services are completed on the basis of the information you provide on the Assessment Form submitted at the initial stage of the research.  At present we undertake Assessments FREE of charge.

The reasons why people set out on the journey to research their family histories are many and varied.  Most want to unlock decades, sometimes centuries, of unconfirmed stories, others just want to find ‘home’.

Many genealogies end up litanies of birth, marriage and death dates and whilst these are extremely useful facts, to get a real sense of the past and the times in which your ancestors lived, it is important that they are set within a wider local and national historical context.

To avoid overload of the sometimes complex administrative, religious and other divisions in Ireland, much of the detailed information in our reports is included as footnotes, and in our Glossary, a copy of which is included with each commissioned report (see Sample Reports).
