Services & Costs

In order for us to assess the likelihood of being able to meet your requirements, we need you to fill out an Assessment Form.  The Assessment Form contains a range of questions that will hopefully provide us with sufficient information to assess whether we can successfully locate your family, your ancestor, or trace the history of your family home.

Please answer each question including as much detail as you can (if you don’t know the answer to all the questions, don’t worry, just include what you know and give us some idea of how you know what you do, i.e. family lore, documentary evidence etc.   If you have birth/baptism, marriage or death/burial certificates, or copies thereof, please let us know as this will help us trace your family in contemporary Irish records.

Please bear in mind that all Assessments take time to complete, usually about 1 to 2 hours sometimes more – and this is why we request that you please only request an assessemnt if you are genuinely interested in undertaking further research.

I was given a Irish Genealogy Services gift voucher by a friend and before I saw your report I would never have thought to do such research.  Now that you have got me started I can’t stop! I will certainly recomend you to my friends.

My siblings have been trying to trace our family tree for years, however, I think I have beaten them too it by asking you to do it for me! We are getting together over Paddy’s day and I can’t wait to tell them all the news.  Thanks ever so much!.

Thank you very much for researching our family. Your report is extremely professional and very enjoyable to read.  I have given a copy to my father as a present for his 90th birthday!  I have no doubt but that he will love it.

We are so pleased with your research, and it’s hard to believe you were able to find so much out in such a short time!. Our trip to Ireland later this year will now have so much more meaning.  Many thanks for all your hard work!
